I have loved reading my entire life.  My fondest memory of elementary school is being trusted enough by the school librarian at Madderra-Flournoy Elementary School in Beeville to check out a magazine to read at home overnight.  As a sixth grader I was a student helper in the school library.  I still enjoy shelving books to this very day!  Being a librarian in my hometown and having the privilege to select books, guide students to their passion, and help shape the future through reading is my honor and passion.
