We are excited to introduce a new tool that will enhance the transportation experience for our students and their families — the MyRide K-12 app!

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing the latest technology and ensuring student safety, BISD is launching this app to help parents stay informed and connected with their child’s bus transportation.

What is MyRide K-12?

MyRide K-12 is a user-friendly mobile app that allows parents to:

Track their child’s bus location in real time

View scheduled pick-up and drop-off times

Receive notifications about delays or changes

Monitor when their child badges on and off the bus

This new system uses student ID badges to log each student’s entry and exit from the bus, giving parents peace of mind and improving accountability.

How to Get Started

We encourage you to share the following steps with parents to help them get started:

Download the MyRide K-12 app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Create an account using their email address.

Add their student(s) using the student ID number.

Enable notifications to receive real-time updates.
