Looking Ahead: Celebrate Freedom Week | September 14–18

As we head into the weekend, Beeville ISD is looking ahead to Celebrate Freedom Week, September 14–18!

Each year, Texas schools observe Celebrate Freedom Week during the week that includes September 17 - Constitution Day. Throughout the week, students will learn about the history, meaning, and importance of the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights.

Students in grades 3 through 12 will also study and recite the passage required by Texas rules from the Declaration of Independence beginning with the words, 
“We hold these Truths to be self-evident…”

Celebrate Freedom Week gives students a chance to reflect on our nation’s history, our founding principles, and the rights and responsibilities of citizenship.

We look forward to a meaningful week of learning as our students explore the founding documents, ideas, and events that have shaped our nation.
