During its regularly scheduled Board of Trustees meeting on September 17, 2026, Beeville Independent School District announced that the City of Beeville has issued a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy (TCO) for Beeville Elementary School.

The TCO authorizes limited occupancy of the facility by Beeville ISD staff, contractors, and other personnel as work continues toward completion.

Board President Orlando Vasquez reflected on the project's progress and the district's commitment to opening the campus only when it is ready.

"And now we are very, very close; our Elementary School is almost complete. We can see the finish line; we are getting closer to the day when we can open our doors and welcome our teachers and students into a facility that was built for them; a place where children can learn, grow, and build their foundation for their future."

Vasquez also emphasized that safety and quality remain the District's priority.

"And I want our community to know something: we are not going to compromise safety or quality just to say we are finished. We are going to make sure the work is done right, and we are going to keep pushing until it is ready, because our students deserve nothing less."

Beeville ISD appreciates the continued work and coordination of our Board of Trustees, district, administration staff, project partners, and the City of Beeville throughout the construction and occupancy process.

The district will continue to provide official updates regarding Beeville Elementary School as additional information becomes available.
