Beeville ISD – Creation of Reinvestment Zone 

The Beeville Independent School District (“District”) is in discussions with an alternative energy company, Blackjack Creek Wind Farm, LLC to consider the development of a solar energy project located entirely within the District at or about the intersection of TX 202 and FM 2441 and more particularly described by parcel identification numbers below. The Reinvestment Zone illustrative map is available here. 

On December 13, 2021 at 5:30 PM, the District will host a public meeting for the following item:

1. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING THE CREATION OF THE BLACKJACK CREEK WIND FARM, LLC REINVESTMENT ZONE CONSISTING OF 7051.97 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, AT OR ABOUT THE INTERSECTION OF TX 202 AND FM 2441 AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY PARCEL IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS BELOW:

The District’s Board of Trustees at the above-described date, time, and location, will conduct a public hearing to consider designating the above-referenced property as a reinvestment zone under Chapter 312.0025 of the Texas Tax Code. 

All interested parties are encouraged to attend and participate in the public hearing.

All Questions and Proposals must be submitted online.  Proposals must be submitted no later than 2:00 pm CST on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.  Questions must be submitted no later than 2:00 pm CST on Friday, December 17, 2021.  Bidders Conference will be held Friday, December 17, 2021 at 9:00 am.  Attendance is mandatory for RFP # 2022-102 Category Two bidders.  AC Jones High School, 1902 N. Beeville Independent School District reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals and to make awards as they may appear to be advantageous to the district and to waive all formalities with respect thereto.  Bidders are encouraged to submit proposals well in advance of the deadline.  The District is not responsible for bidder’s technical difficulties that may be experienced at the time of bid closing.
