What We Do

What We Do

In addition to ensuring the safety and security of our BISD students and staff, our officers provide training to empower each of us to be better prepared to support one another in the case of an emergency.

Standard Response Protocol (SRP)Standard Response Protocol in English and Spanish.

A uniform, planned, and practiced response to any incident is the foundation of a safe school. The Standard Response Protocol (SRP) is action-based, flexible and easy to learn. It rationally organizes tactics for response to weather events, fires, accidents, intruders and other threats to personal safety.

The Beeville ISD Police Department provides districtwide Stop the Bleed training to all district staff. The Stop the Bleed model is simple: with three quick actions, you can be trained to save a life. The number one cause of preventable death after injury is bleeding. That’s why we want to train our team and others on how to Stop the Bleed.

Crime Stoppers Safe School ProgramExample of poster that is on display on campuses in BISD for Crime Stoppers.

Throughout the district we have posters on display with the tip line phone number and a scannable QR code for the P3 App, an anonymous tip reporting system utilized by Crime Stoppers. Crime Stoppers is 100% anonymous and your tip could be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000. The Beeville ISD Police Department along with Coastal Bend Crime Stoppers would like to remind all students, “If you KNOW something, SAY something.” For more information, please visit Coastal Bend Crime Stoppers.

Partnering Organizations
